How do I start?

What do I put my ironing in for collection?
Any sealable bag is fine. A laundry bag or even a black bin bag! Please have it all ready for the driver.
How much does it cost?
We have a minimum cost of 27.40 for upto 20 adult items or equivalent (please see our items list on the prices page). This is discounted to 25 if you book as a priority customer. Any further items will be charged at 1.37 (or 1.25 on the discount rate) each.
Do you cover my area?
We cover all the areas listed on the areas covered page Mon-Fri mornings and evenings, also Sunday evening's.
Is there a minimum charge for dry cleaning?
There is no minimum charge for dry cleaning if you are already sending ironing. We can apply the minimum charge to one or the other. So if you had 25+ of dry cleaning you could send just 1 item for ironing and vice versa.
Can I send ironing and dry cleaning to make the minimum?
No, we will apply the minimum charge to EITHER the ironing or dry cleaning.
Are there any discounts available?
We offer a discount for regular weekly or fortnightly bookings on a set day. We will automatically call and you will receive all the benefits of a priority customer. Please call for details.
Do you give set times for collections and deliveries?
We cannot give exact times due to varying call rates and traffic enroute etc. However we always call 9.30-11.30am and 6pm-9.30pm Mon-Fri and Sunday 6pm-8pm, travel the route in the same direction, so we can give you a better guide time if you ask on the day.
How long does it take?
We return 24hours later, unless you ask for another time, or if we are busy and you do not have a priority booking already, we may quote you on booking that we need 48hours. Dry cleaning can sometimes take longer.
Do you provide laundry bags to use?
If you book as a priority customer, you will receive a free laundry bag. We can also sell them on request.( 3)
How do you return the ironing?/ Can I give special instructions?
We have a standard of fold bedding, t-shirts, shorts and small children's items. All shirts, trousers, polo tops, dresses and skirts will be returned on hangers.
If you want anything different please let us know and we can do that at no extra charge.
Do you want the hangers and bags back?
Yes please! We can re-use the hangers and your plastic covers.
Would you use my own hangers if I put them in the bag?
Yes. If you supply your own wooden or plastic hangers we will use them and return any to you not used.
What happens if I'm out or I miss you?
We provide a free collection and delivery service, one call for each. Any additional calls will be charged at 3 each. We will automatically rebook for the following day. If however, you ask us to leave or collect the ironing from a safe place we can do that for you. You can also phone the driver mobile 07952 120063 if you have to go out at short notice or are running late, and we rearrange free of charge.
What other services do you provide?
Alongside our ironing and dry cleaning service, we also provide an alterations service.
Can everything be ironed?
The majority of items can be ironed, but we do not iron leather/suede. We always follow manufacturer's instructions.
Can I call you just for a one off collection?
Yes, we can call to you on an adhoc basis just once or at intermittent times as you need.
